The Purtrex depth filter is an exceptional value for general applications where long life, high purity and low
change-out frequency are required. Produced through GE’s patented melt blown microfiber technology,
Purtrex is a 100% pure polypropylene depth filter with exceptional dirt-holding capacity.
GE’s Purtrex true-graded density filter matrix (lower density at the surface of the filter with progressively
higher density toward the center) captures particles throughout the entire filter depth. This translates to
longer life and fewer change-outs than existing string-wound or resin-bonded filters.
Purtrex contains no wetting agents, solvents, anti-static agents or binders, and meets the requirements of

wide range of chemical solutions. Conditions will vary with
each application and users should carefully verify chemical compatibility. The materials contained within the XPleat PES filters
meet U.S. FDA requirements for food contact under the applicable
regulations in 21CFR. XPleat PES filters meet the test criteria for USP
Class VI-121C Plastics. Xpleat filters are available the following

The AD LE Series, family of proprietary thin film reverse osmosis membrane elements, is characterized by an excellent sodium chloride rejection. AD LE series is selected when high quality permeate is demanded from seawater that is relatively high in TDS. AD LE Series new membrane chemistry provides excellent rejection characteristics when operated at seawater operating conditions (pressures exceeding 800psi (5,516kPa) and elevated seawater temperatures.
The A-Series, family of proprietary thin-film reverse osmosis membrane elements are characterized by high flux and high sodium chloride rejection. AG Standard Brackish Water Elements are selected when high rejection and operating pressures as low as 200 psi (1,379 kPa) are desired. These elements allow moderate energy savings, and are considered a standard in the industry.
The A-Series, family of proprietary thin-film reverse osmosis membrane elements are characterized by high flux and high sodium chloride rejection. AK Low Pressure Brackish Water Elements are selected when high rejection and low operating pressures are desired. These elements allow significant energy savings since good rejection is achieved at operating pressures as low as 100 psi.
AE HR series of proprietary thin film reverse osmosis membrane elements
are characterized by an excellent sodium chloride rejection. AE HR
series is selected when high quality permeate is demanded from seawater
that is relatively high in TDS. AE HR series new membrane chemistry
provides excellent rejection characteristics when operated at seawater

daltons for uncharged organic molecules. Divalent and multivalent ion
rejection is dependent upon feed concentration and composition. HL
Nanofiltration Elements are used for water softening, color removal,
and reduction of THM formation potential.
The P-Series family of polyethersulfone ultrafiltration membrane elements are characterized by a 10,000 molecular weight cut-off and greater than 96% rejection of Cytochrome-C (13,300 MW protein). PW Elements are used for pretreatment of process water, post treatment of ultrapure water and for the removal of organics.
